Production Blog (Filming)

 Today was our second day of filming for our final task project. Everybody arrived to Adriana's house around 9:30 today. When we all were situated at her house we talked up what need to get done for the day. I talked about the setting for the second half of the film. We needed to clean up the kitchen and the dinning table for the scenes. Also we had to setup the different props around scenes. Once we got everything mostly in place we decided it was time to start filming. I told Faith to change into the costume for her character. Once she changed we started recording the first scenes for the day. The first coupe of scenes went pretty smooth, we only had to retake a few to get the desired results. Then we got to the scene in which we needed to have fake blood as a prop. Our partner forgot to bring the fake blood so we ended up having to making the fake blood. I asked Adriana's mom for any red food coloring she had and she happened to have some red. I got some syrup and water to mix with the food coloring. Once I got the right consistency we continued filming the scene. The rest of the filming for the day went good and we ended up finishing a little early. So we decided to start putting the clips together in the editing program to see how they would look. We did this because since we are already filming we could fix or retake any shots if necessary. After a few changes we decided we were done filming for the project. The filming honestly went  more smooth then I thought it would be.
