AICE Media Studies Blog

 Our group is slightly changing from what is has been for the last two projects. For the last two projects it has been Adrian L. and me (Adrian R.). We have worked on the commercial and the music video projects together. But for the final task Adriana sent me a message asking if it would be okay for our friend to join our group. When I first thought about adding another to the group I was against it. But the more that I thought about it, the more that I was for the idea. I thought about how the work for the project would be for the most part split 3 ways, instead of just 2. Also I don't like to act in what ever we are filming. So adding Faith into our group would allow for me to just record, edit and not have to act. Also Faith was in the need for a new group and she is very nice and I didn't want to feel bad. I'm feeling very confident in this new group. Adrian has been such a good partner for the last two projects, in every aspect. And I know that Faith is a good student,

 I am finally here at the final task. This class has been such roller-coaster. Full of ups and downs but I have learned so much during this year. The first project the commercial teaching me how to execute a plan and how to use a backup plan when needed. This was because another group was recording in the same area that we planned to record in. The second project the music video teaching me the tedious side of the post production process. We decided to lip sync with the lyrics of the song, so the majority of the editing was just trying to sync the videos together. I feel like these first 2 projects have really been preparing me with all the necessary skills to make this final task. My editing skills and clip general awareness for how to put clips together has improved a lot. Also my production skills and recording skills are much better then they were in the first project. I have already been thinking about 2 different plot lines for the final task. We want to start thinking of ideas a
