Final Task: "New Group"

 Our group is slightly changing from what is has been for the last two projects. For the last two projects it has been Adrian L. and me (Adrian R.). We have worked on the commercial and the music video projects together. But for the final task Adriana sent me a message asking if it would be okay for our friend to join our group. When I first thought about adding another to the group I was against it. But the more that I thought about it, the more that I was for the idea. I thought about how the work for the project would be for the most part split 3 ways, instead of just 2. Also I don't like to act in what ever we are filming. So adding Faith into our group would allow for me to just record, edit and not have to act. Also Faith was in the need for a new group and she is very nice and I didn't want to feel bad. I'm feeling very confident in this new group. Adrian has been such a good partner for the last two projects, in every aspect. And I know that Faith is a good student, she also seems very easy to work with. There is only one major downside to Faith joining our group. This is the fact that she doesn't have the class at the same time that we have AICE Media. We have the class a day before here every rotation. This is going to be a setback because that means we don't have that critical class time to work collectively on the project. I still believe that we can make this group work. It wouldn't be that hard to work around, just having to spend extra time to try and work on the project al together. Anyways I still believe in the group and think we will do fine on finish the final task for this class.

  To be honest, when I first heard the about a title design I was very confused! This was the first time I have even heard of that term in film. So when I learned that I needed to include it in my final task, I knew I needed to research what exactly a title design is! I ended up finding two websites that helped clarify. The first website I found was called artofthetitle.com. Finding this website was like finding gold. It has tons of title designs from every genre, decade, and title designer you can imagine! They had title design from some of my favorite movies! Some of the favorites that I spotted were Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Aquaman, and Venom. One neat feature of this website is the many categories it sorts its title designs. They organize them by designer, studio, nominations and more. Music Video Planning Blog

  Props:     The list of props required for this music video  is  not very long. The main prop needed is a cell phone, as most of the video  is a phone call between the two main actors.   The only other  minor prop that will be needed  is  a picture frame  with a picture inside .     Costumes:     We would like to keep a portion of the 2000’s essence present in the song alive, so our costumes will  try to mimic the clothing trends from that era. This includes baggy clothes and  non-modern brands. Adrian will wear lighting  jewelry, specifically a thing chain and studs, to follow the typical male  get-up  criteria . Slow R&B songs focused more on emotions and themes of love, so flashy items to show off wealth are not  a focus . Adria na will wear  mostly natural-looking make-up , still glam but not  too  flashy. Schedule: Planning Blog

  Location:   We will be filming at my house (Adriana's). My room matches the description of the room in our script and I also have all the props we need: dolls, teapots, and clothes.  Participants:   The actor for this film will be me (Adriana). The cameraman will be Faith and the editor will be Adrian. I'm probably the best choice to be the actor because all the costumes belong to me and are my size. Adrian is tech savvy and good with editing, so he will be the main editor. That leaves Faith to handle the camera! Health and Safety:   This film has little risks, but there is one. In one scene, we have a tea kettle go off on the stove and we will be handling hot water to get shots of steam. We've researched what the first aid procedure for a burn is and it says to run the burn under cold water and bandage it. We are filming near my kitchen, so we'll have a sink near-by.
