Filming Blog: Complete!

Today was the our final day of filming. Today went way more smoothly then my previous day of filming. Part of that is because we only had a few shots left to film. The other part is that from our experience of filming on Thursday, we already knew how to get every thing done efficiently. Before we started to record the other group that was filming in our area from Thursday asked if they could record one quick scene before us. We said yes to them and they were quick taking around 10 minutes. We first recorded a missing shot from the first seeing, where I walk back to my seat. We couldn't shoot this shot on Thursday because of the other team that needed to record in our same area. I also didn't laugh as much and was a able to stay serious while recording. This made recording this scene super easy. The next part we shot was just a simple close up of me looking back at my partner while walking back to my seat. We used on friend Janiya for help again today. She would record when me and my partner were both acting. Also today we were better at explaining the different camera angles to her, because on Thursday she was having trouble visualize our ideas.  The last shot we recorded today was a shot of my partner looking back at me from her seat and in the scene we just simply look at each other. This scene was also very easy and straight forward. After we finished recording the scenes I inserted the clips into the editing app so my team could see how it looked. We do this so we can see how the scene look together and if any shots need to be redone. For the sixth scene I just screen record the outro animation for a Extra gum commercial. I also have already started looking at music for our commercial.

  To be honest, when I first heard the about a title design I was very confused! This was the first time I have even heard of that term in film. The first website I found was called artofthetitle.com. Finding this website was like finding gold. It has tons of title designs from every genre, decade, and title designer you can imagine! They had title design from some of my favorite movies! Some of the favorites that I spotted were Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Aquaman, and Venom. Music Video Planning Blog

  Props:     The list of props required for this music video  is  not very long. The main prop needed is a cell phone, as most of the video  is a phone call between the two main actors.   The only other  minor prop that will be needed  is  a picture frame  with a picture inside .     Costumes:     We would like to keep a portion of the 2000’s essence present in the song alive, so our costumes will  try to mimic the clothing trends from that era. This includes baggy clothes and  non-modern brands. Adrian will wear lighting  jewelry, specifically a thing chain and studs, to follow the typical male  get-up  criteria . Slow R&B songs focused more on emotions and themes of love, so flashy items to show off wealth are not  a focus . Adria na will wear  mostly natural-looking make-up , still glam but not  too  flashy. Schedule: Planning Blog

  Location:   We will be filming at my house (Adriana's). My room matches the description of the room in our script and I also have all the props we need: dolls, teapots, and clothes.  Participants:   The actor for this film will be me (Adriana). The cameraman will be Faith and the editor will be Adrian. I'm probably the best choice to be the actor because all the costumes belong to me and are my size. Adrian is tech savvy and good with editing, so he will be the main editor. That leaves Faith to handle the camera! Health and Safety:   This film has little risks, but there is one. In one scene, we have a tea kettle go off on the stove and we will be handling hot water to get shots of steam. We've researched what the first aid procedure for a burn is and it says to run the burn under cold water and bandage it. We are filming near my kitchen, so we'll have a sink near-by.
